I am running for Mayor of Sacramento to make Sacramento a better place to live and raise our families as I have raised my family here. I have three fine children all born, raised, and educated in Sacramento. I could have done none of this without my late wife; who passed away after 38 years of wonderful marriage. I will always miss her. I am 67 years old and a 45 year resident of Sacramento. I was born in Montreal Canada of US parentage. I am a seven year veteran of the US military (Vietnam Era) with two honorable discharges. I am a former Roseville police officer and California State correctional officer (1983-89.) I worked for Homeland Security for 4 years (2019-2023.) I am a graduate of McGeorge School of Law (1988.) I have a Bachelors Degree from the university of Maryland (cum laude) in Sociology and Psychology; I earned while serving as military police in the US Army. I have practiced law for 30 years representing the rights of the people . I have always stepped up to the plate for my clients. I have always fought the unfairness of the traditional cliques established in Sacramento. In 2018 it cost me my law license; I can reinstate. That has however has not diminished my resolve to continue to fight for fair and honest government and shun cronyism. What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger, and reinforces my goals for better and honest government..

My platform for starters is:

1. Resolve the homeless issue.

2. Establish a minimum wage of $19.50 with tiered increases.

3. Reopen Rancho Seco to reduce our SMUD bills.

4. Improve our school security; keeping your fingers crossed does not count as school security.

5. Free parking in downtown and Midtown Sacramento so people can park and freely visit Sacramento merchants.

Other American cities are doing it; why can’t Sacramento?

If you can’t fight City Hall—become City Hall; it’s our home.
